In this article, we give our recommendations for locations with great night views and night walks in Tokyo. The crowded city is filled with people from all over the country and many buildings are densely packed.  At night,  you can see the bright neon lights throughout the city. Night views such as Tokyo Tower, Tokyo City View, and Tokyo Sky Tree get much attention but there are many night spots that are not yet known to the average tourist. Here are some recommended night spots from your friends at Travel Ready Company.

Ebisu Garden Place
The complex "Ebisu Garden Place" was created by re-developing a place that was originally a beer factory of Sapporo Beer. The streets of Garden Place at night combine warm light and brick architecture to create scenic landscape.  A free observation deck sits just outside the restaurant on the 38th and 39th floors of Ebisu Garden Place Tower. From here, you can enjoy the urban night view of Shinjuku and Shibuya. We also recommend you spend time here after enjoying an elegant meal in the restaurant.

Another one of Tokyo's hidden night spots is the Akasaka Hie Shrine.  The shrine is found nearby The National Diet Center. A long staircase leads up to the different shrine gates and eventually to the main shrine. Regarded as a good luck shrine for LOVE KNOT by the worshippers, Hie Shrine has garnered a lot of attention from tourists.  Statues found in the shrine have different significance to the worshippers. Many business people come to have lunch breaks during the day because of the green scenery. Make sure to visit The Hie Shrine when next you are in Tokyo. There are few people at night and so you will enjoy the calm atmosphere while taking a walk at night.

The Science Museum of the Ship
The Science Museum of the Ship (also called the Museum of Maritime Science) located at the eastern end of Odaiba is a beautiful night scene location. There is a viewing tower in the museum where  you can see a 360-degree view of Odaiba when you climb it. The view you should want to see is the one towards Rainbow Bridge. You can enjoy the view of the city capital from here. However, since this observation tower can only be used during the working days of the museum, the night view can be seen mainly in the winter. This place is recommended for couples that want alone time, away from the crowds.

The park makes for a great place for relaxing, watching the waterfront while listening to the sound of the waves. From the beach, you can enjoy the views of The Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Tower.  One can join a marine excursion here via the water buses at Odaiba Seaside Park.  At night there are few people, so you can enjoy the view without big crowds. Akagi Shrine
"Akagi Shrine"is  located in Kagurazaka. The shrine is conveniently located a 1-minute walk from Kagurazaka Station.  Akagi Shrine itself is one of the pleasant night views in Tokyo because the lights shine beautifully against the buildings.  The buildings here have unique architectural designs creating a brilliant picture. From the ground, you can see the Ikebukuro area and the brightly lit Sunshine 60 can be seen in particular. Although it is a very small place in terms of area, it is also a nice place to enjoy safely even at night. It is a useful spot to stop by after eating and drinking around Kagurazaka.
